Different types of services are offered by pet sitters based on the needs of the pets and the pet owners. Some pet sitters specialize in a particular type of pets like cats or dogs, others take care of all kinds of pets including birds. Since the pet sitter visits the house when the pet owner is away, they are responsible for the welfare of the pet and if any theft occurs, they may be held liable.
